One Crazy Day

I knew going into Saturday that it would be crazy. It proved to be true and then some. We had Sam's birthday party at 11:00 at Incredible Pizza. It turned out to be a small group, but everyone had a good time eating pizza & cake, playing games and riding go-carts.
We rushed back to our house and stayed just long enough for Clara to eat. Then we were off to Granbury for our cousin Tyler's birthday party at 4:00. It was at a gymnastics place and the kids could run around, jump on trampolines, jump in the foam pit, etc. Everyone had a good time, except Ollie. See below...

Sam got a lot of Toy Story stuff which is what he wanted. He got a 2-wheeled Toy Story scooter from Mom & Dad. He also finally got the Toy Story DVDs that we've been waiting for them to be re-released. He got some fun Toy Story toys, a few good books and some other fun toys. Thanks everyone for making his birthday great!!

The trampolines at the gymnastics place were set into the floor, so you can just walk right onto them. Ollie made a beeline for one that our niece was jumping on and before anyone could get to him, he got bounced pretty hard. He ended up with a fractured tibia. He's in a temporary long leg splint and not allowed to walk on it. We are supposed to see an orthopedic specialist on Monday. He'll probably get a real cast and I doubt if he'll be released to walk on it. We'll see. He has been such a trooper throughout this whole thing so far.

Poor Ollie. I am still afraid that this will happen to Lincoln. He has no fear. He does look cute in the brace, but I am sure it is a pain trying to get him around. I will be curious to see how this works. Happy Birthday Sam!

Oh man! Ollie does look like a trooper. I had just decided that we will hold joint parties for Kilian and Lucy at our gymnastics place later this year, but now I am slightly nervous...
