Thanksgiving Week
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Tony & I were able to take the whole week off. My Dad, step-mom, Nate (my brother) & family, Wendy (Tony's sister) & family were all in town too. We had a very fun and busy week.
Saturday morning, Sam & Jack went to see "The Polar Express" at the Omni. The kids were all wearing their PJs and this was Sam's first movie. They had a blast.

Afternoon Cruise
Well, I guess my baby is growing up. Yesterday, his teacher at school asked me what I thought about him moving up to the toddler room on December 8th. I was shocked! My baby is not a toddler! Atleast thats how I feel. Man, its true what they say, time really flies with the second one (and I am sure with each one after). I guess we have to start thinking about another one now. Ha, Ha!

Happy Halloween!
We had a great Halloween! The boys loved dressing up and getting out to trick or treat. Well, Ollie just loved being out on a buggy ride. Sam had fun, but after about an hour, asked to go home. Sam was also really excited about carving his first pumpkin this year. That was until he saw what was inside the thing. He opted to just supervise Tony, which included picking the design (from a book).

Fall Fun
We've been enjoying this fall season. Just hanging out and hitting some of the fun festivals. The boys are doing great. Ollie is 10 months old today and is such a joy. He is finally sleeping through the night! It just took a few nights of Tony going in to soothe him, since he associates me with eating :) I wish we had tried that sooner. He is pulling up and combat crawling all over the place!
Sam is doing good too. We finally convinced him to try pedaling his tricycle. With a little practice he did great and loves it. Maybe Santa will bring him a big boy bike. And someone turned on his "why" switch. He must ask hundred "why" questions a day (atleast)! He just jabbers on and on and he is constantly cracking us up.
Here are some pictures to share. We've taken so many since the last post that I had trouble narrowing down which ones to post :)
Ollie's gooey eye (left) is finally better!! (but not is this picture)
Ollie pulled up at ~8.5 months.

Our Summer Summed Up
Well, I guess summer is officially over (even though it doesn't really feel like it around here). I have been really lazy about posting over the past 2 months or so. But that seems to be my trend.

Halfy Birthday Ollie!
Last Saturday, June 21st, we celebrated Ollie's Half Birthday. Although he could not partake in the eating of it, we made a special cake for the occassion. It did not turn out so pretty, but Sam enjoyed making it. And eating it. At his 6 month checkup, Ollie weighed 18 lb 8 oz and was 27 1/4 inches long. And he hardly cried at all for the shots. By the time I scooped him up to soothe him, he had stopped. He is such a mellow kiddo! Looks like he is right on track for everything, not that I was worried.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame
We had a great week and weekend!
Wednesday, we had Nana over for dinner. She was leaving Saturday to go help out Nate and Kate in KY for a whole month, so we wanted to see her before she left.
Friday, we learned that Sam and Ollie's new cousin, Amara Jane Dean was born. She and Aunt Kate are doing well. Although it will probably be awhile, we can't wait to meet her.
We are having a good Fathers Day. We actually spent the early afternoon at the mall!!! I know, its horrible, but I had a few things to get and Tony was a great sport about it. He will be spending the afternoon and evening watching the US Open on TV. That should make up for it.
Tony goes out of town for 2 nights this week, so please pray for us!! I think we'll make it :)
Kiki and the boys at the game.
Ollie enjoyed watching the game too...
...but not for long.
Another first...Cracker Jacks!! I am not sure, but I think he liked them.
"Look what I can do!" - Ollie can now sit unsupported. Still a little wobbly at times, but he gets steadier by the day. And he loves it! He will be 6 months old next Saturday. I can't believe it!
Last weekend...
Mommy had to work Saturday. But Sam had fun playing in the pool in Kiki and Poppys' backyard. On Sunday, Sam hosted a birthday party for who else...Sam. Everyone got in on the action, even Ollie.
