Happy Easter!

Well, we had a great Easter. I got 3 baskets in all, with way more candy than I could ever eat. Maybe Mommy and Daddy can help me with that. I got to see Nana, my aunts, uncles and cousins. We even had a chilly Easter egg hunt in Nana's backyard. Then we went to see Kiki and Poppy for dinner. I had such an exciting day that I didn't even have time for a nap!

Last weekend we were in Louisiana for our friends Josh and Melissa's wedding. It was really fun! I really enjoyed getting to play with my cousin Jack who was also there from Houston. We got to swim in the indoor pool at our hotel, too. I just wish I could jump off the side like Jack did! Maybe when I get a little bigger.

I am sure that I will post again very soon. I will turn 2 in less than two weeks! I have learned to say all kinds of new words. I say something new everyday. I don't know about you, but Mommy and Daddy sure seem impressed.

Goodbye for Now, Until We Meet Again...

We had a nice dinner on Friday night to send off Uncle Nate, Aunt Kate and Isaac. We will miss seeing them on a regular basis, but wish them the best of luck on their new adventure. We look forward to seeing them real soon!

A Fun Day at the Zoo

I had a great time at the zoo today with Nana, Aunt Kate, Isaac and Mommy. The weather was really nice and all the animals were out. I really enjoyed seeing the hippos, flamingos, cheetahs, elephants and feeding the birds with a honey stick. We saw lots of other neat animals, too. I also got to ride on the carousel and the train. I can't wait to go again soon!

Spring is in the Air!

We had a great weekend! We went to the duck pond on Saturday morning with Kiki and got to feed the ducks bread. I ate some of the bread, too. Then, in the afternoon, Mommy and Daddy took me to the playground. I got to swing on the swings and slide down the slides, and even ride the merry-go-round. Daddy almost puked...but it was worth it. Happy March!!

I can't believe it is March already! The weather is starting to warm up some...which is awesome! Now, that I am getting bigger I can go outside and run and play. Right now, I really like to help Mommy water the flowers on the porch and sit in the rocking chairs and watch the cars and people go by. Daddy promises to clean up the back yard soon and get it ready for spring/summer fun.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Happy Valentine's Day!! I had a great Valentine's Day. We had a party at school and had cookies and candy. It was a blast! Then, when I got home, I got to have more cookies with Mommy and Daddy and play with the funny cards they gave me. The cards had googly eyes on them, so I tore them off. That's just what I do....... Anywho, just been hanging out this week. Went to the doctor today and found out I have an upper respiratory infection and another ear infection. Its going to be a loooong weekend for Mommy and Daddy!

He really is a GREAT Grandpa!!

I really enjoyed the visit last week from my Great Grandpa. We went to the stock show and saw all of the baby animals like the piggies, and the duckies, and the chicks, and the calves. And then we went out to eat to celebrate Kiki and Aunt Wendy's birthdays. We went to Mimi's Cafe. It was fun to get everybody together. Then, later in the week, we also went to eat at a nice restaurant called Texas de Brazil for Great Grandpa's birthday. It was yummy! Especially the fried bananas!! I can't wait to see him again. I'm sure I'll grow lots by then.
