Well, my little boy started school today. He was very excited to meet new people and start something new. He was not nervous in the least. Mom, however, was not so calm. I did cry a little, but not until I got home from dropping him off. He was so excited telling me all about his day. You could definitely tell he'd been sitting still most of the day. He did not stop moving for like 10 min as he told me everything.
Sam: "We had art class today. But, we just talked about rules. They should call it rule class."

Clara at 9 Months
Well, I am late again. But, at least I am doing it. Which is pretty good for the 3rd child, right?
Clara is such a joy. She is a happy girl. Although, she is definately not too keen on people she does not see on a daily basis. Needs a little time to warm up. Favorite place to be is in mommy's arms. She is crawling everywhere, pulling up alot and cruising a little. She had absolutely no teeth at 8 months, and now has 5 teeth coming in at various stages! She weighs 18 lb 8 oz (50%) and is 29" long (90%).
We left for our vacation to the beach the day she turned 9 months. She did great for the 15 hr drive there and back. But...she started running really high fevers toward the end of our trip. Her temps got up to 105.1 at its highest. But, she had absolutely no other symptoms. They discovered she has a urinary tract infection. She started on an antibiotic and has had no more fever, thank goodness. But, that was her first "sick visit" to the doctor in her whole life so far. Not bad.

Ollie on the Mend
Ollie did really well with his cast. It did not slow him down in the least, he was running on it!!But, got his cast off this past Tuesday. He was not too sure about the cast saw, but regardless he sat still and let them do their work. The doctor said it had healed nicely. They did tell us to keep him off of playground equipment, slides, etc for 2 weeks. Initially, Ollie did not want anyone to touch his leg and it took him a day and a half before he started to walk on it. And now he is limping around, but they said he would do that and its normal.
His class made him this card while he was out of school for a few days when it first happened
Enjoying Mayfest from his stroller

After
We set up his big boy bed last night and he did AWESOME his first night in it!!!

Clara at 7 Months
Clara is doing awesome! She turned 7 months on May 23rd. She is getting more and more mobile by the day! She mastered sitting just after she turned 6 months and within days of that she was already getting herself into and out of sitting. Then she moved on to crawling. Sometimes on her elbows and knees and sometimes on her hands and feet like a bear crawl. We decided it was time to move the crib to its lowest setting. Who knows what she'll do next.
She is sleeping through the night like a champ and is still a very sweet and happy baby unless she is tired or hungry (like most of us). She is just growing too darn fast!
