Its Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

We have been very busy getting ready for Christmas and for the arrival of my baby brother on the 21st of December. I have already been to see Santa Claus and I told him that I wanted "a toy" for Christmas. I think I have been pretty good this year, so I am expecting good things!

Daddy put up our Christmas Tree and I "helped" Mommy put the ornaments on it. I have really enjoyed playing with the ornaments-taking them off the tree, hanging them on doorknobs around the house- just doing my part to help decorate the house. And today, Mommy and I made Christmas cookies! I had a lot of fun cutting out the shapes and putting the sprinkles on. Mommy had a hard time keeping me from eating them though. When she finally let me eat one, I thought they were really good.

Well, hopefully the next time you hear from me, I will be introducing my baby brother. Until then, enjoy the Christmas season!

Monkeying Around

We had a great time on Halloween! My Kiki came over to bring me candy and then we went out trick or treating. Mommy and Daddy say I did a great job saying "trick or treat" and "thank you." Then we went over to Nana's to take her a birthday present. Her birthday is on Halloween, ya know? While we were there I got to play some with Tyler and Amanda. I stayed up really late that night and did not want to get up to go to school the next day! I think we've all recovered now.

Happy Fall!

We hope everyone is having a nice fall. It finally feels like fall here in Texas. We have been staying busy getting ready for my baby brother's arrival in a few months. Mommy is feeling great and things are looking good so far. I am really looking forward to meeting my brother and helping Mommy and Daddy. And, I am now sleeping really well in my big boy bed, so my brother will now have a place to sleep!
Here is a video (kind of a long one) and some pictures of me playing over the past few months. There is also one from a hayride at the pumpkin patch. We went a few weeks ago with Tyler, Amanda, Aunt Alisa and Nana. We had a good time, even though I was a bit cranky from not taking a nap that day.

I Am Going to be a BIG BROTHER!!!

I am very proud to tell everyone that I am going to have a baby BROTHER soon!! Mommy and Daddy are very excited too. Officially he won't be here until around January 3rd, but Daddy thinks it will be a Christmas baby. Mommy is feeling great and she has been working on our room that we will share. I even have new Big Boy bed that I love. I am not sure about actually sleeping in it though.

San Antonio in July

We had a great time in San Antonio in July. We went there to see some of my family on my Mommmy's side. My Grandma and Grandpa Dean were there along with my cousins, aunts and uncles, some of whom I had never met before. It was fun to see everyone! While we were there, we went to Sea World to see whales, dolphins, sharks and seals. We also went on a boat ride on the river and to the childrens museum. And we ate ALOT of mexican food! It was really HOT, but we had a great time!

Summertime Fun

Its been awhile since I last posted, but I have been very busy as you can tell from my pictures. I have really been enjoying the summer so far. And the thing I enjoy the most is WATER. My mommy and daddy got me a water table that I can splash around and play with. They also took me swimming at Bedford splash. It was a blast! And every week at school we have splash day where we get to play outside in the water. I look forward to it every week.
Most recently, we went down to Houston for my cousin Jack's 3rd birthday. We had a great time. We went to the Children's Museum, Jack's party at Pump It Up, and we got to go swimming at the hotel. I love playing with Jack and can't wait to see him again soon!
We have more fun in store for July. In two weeks, we will be going to San Antonio to spend some time with Grandpa, Grandma and the rest of Mommy's family. I can't wait. I will let you know how it goes. Bye for now!

Hooray! I'm 2!!

Well, I am a little late getting this on. I turned 2 years old on Friday April 20th. The day started with going to see Dr. Brennan (not so much fun). She says I am doing a great job "catching up." And, I only had to get one shot this time. I think I was pretty brave, if I do say so myself. Later that day I went to the Fort Worth Zoo with Mommy and Daddy. We saw the animals, rode the carousel and the train. I got a little cranky toward the end, but what can I say, I'm 2. What do you expect?

The next day I had a party at my house, which I shared with my cousin, Tyler, who turned 3 on Saturday. My Aunt Alisa made a really neat Thomas the Train cake for us. Later we went to the park to play, make bubbles, and fly my kite. Well, I guess Daddy really did most of the kite-flying. That night we went to dinner at Joe T's with Kiki, Poppy, Wendy, Jeff and Jack. Aunt Wendy told me that I am going to have a new cousin in about 8 months. I can't wait!!

Otherwise, we are doing pretty good. I just moved up to the "big kid" room at school and I really like it. They even let me sit on the potty. I don't do anything but sit, but that's okay.
